Today I was pretty disappointed, the teacher changed the time of class and I seemed to be the only one who missed the memo. I was just shocked cuz two people had my cellphone number and neither sent me an SMS. Boo. I gave them a hard time for it and they said next time they would send me one. But how frustrating to wait around for a class that came and went without me knowing! Oh well. C’est la vie.

I’m still waiting on the armoire to get built… it’s not really an armoire, it’s more like an etagere. I’ve gotten to the point where I know the word in French and don’t know it English. Of course it’s always confusing when the English word for a shelf case is bureau and in French it is a desk.

I just started downloading podcasts and they’re a wonderful thing… I get all the news I need on them. Now I just need to find a particularly addictive game… it used to be Chips Challenge but I still remember how to beat all the levels, so I need to find a new Chips Challenge. If anyone has any suggestions… please send them my way. It has to be something I can download onto my computer because I don’t have internet yet.

I hope to get off to Casamance next week. My roommate and I might go there for the rice harvest. Saturday we’re having a Thanksgiving dinner… but I don’t think I will be able to make it. I hope to just get some food even if I can’t stay and enjoy their company. There will be stuffing!! And mashed potatoes!!! I miss my mom’s meatloaf.
