But the power’s out once more. It’s been out pretty much all day today. I met some nice people today and I’m still apartment hunting and will be for the next week at the very least. I will need to ask my mom if I can stay with her an extra week or two while I hunt an apartment down. It will save me money in the long run! The only problem is I have to barter and drive the price down like crazy. I have to get the big guns out. I finished another book… and I’m onto another. I haven’t read like this since I was in middle/elementary school.
Classes are going ok, it’s gotten a little more frustrating when i have to think so hard about how to construct sentences in french. I have to start thinking french rather than english. Like you dont say “in the morning” in french, you just say “the morning”. It’s little things like that. I slept a full night last night, but I still wake up during the night due to the heat. At this point, I thank the lord every day for blessing me with air conditioning all these years in Florida.
Also, everyone who could possibly be affected by hurricane Wilma, get the heck out of town! (Caramel) Hopefully it won’t do too much damage.
