Lately it’s been tough trying to fall asleep and stay asleep. Yesterday, I woke up at 6 am, and just stayed awake. The heat is so overwhelming, and I might be catching a cold. My throat is sore, and my head is feeling blah. I can’t wait to find an apartment to live in. I thought I had it all figured but I found out the guy who was going to rent me an apartment was a) ripping me off and b) did not receive a very good report on him as a landlord. So that kind of sucks.
The house behind me should be getting a new student living there, so I might drop by tonight and see who the new person is. It’s kind of exciting, but at the same its a bit tough with so many people coming and going. Kelly’s been pretty static, but everyone else is usually going off and doing things. Monday night, Samba and Ulisse stopped by to say hey, and it was nice having someone look in on me and make sure I’m alive and kicking. We hung out for a few hours… I think we might go to the beach this weekend. I am starting a new book, No. 1: Ladies Detective Agency. Its one of those times that I’m reflecting on what should I be doing/will be doing with my life. Hopefully I will feel a little better tomorrow.
