It’s so delightful to receive a package when you’re not expecting one. A good friend of mine sent me one randomly, and it was so thoughtful. No note attached, but then again no need for explanation. She came to visit a few weeks ago - at the same time another friend was visiting- and when we went to go see the Statue of Liberty, we were given free tickets from someone who happened to spot us. Apparently they weren’t going to use them, so they just gave them to us. As random as it was, we felt truly blessed.

Of course karma always comes back around. When we went to the island, I happened to find a cell phone that someone dropped. Luckily, the owner called and I was able to return it to him. Funny how it happens.
